  • 4 large red onions
  • 400 ml vinegar
  • 150 ml water
  • 5 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons peppercorns

Instructions

  1. Slice the red onions
  2. Bring vinegar to a boil with water, sugar, and peppercorns
  3. Place the red onions in a sterilized preserving jar
  4. Pour the vinegar mixture over the red onions and let them steam off a bit with the lid open
  5. Then place the pickled red onions in the fridge
