Ham Roll

A delicious and creamy danish ham roll filled with mushrooms, diced ham, and cream cheese - perfect for an easy dinner or packed lunch.

Ingredients

  • 250 g mushrooms
  • 100 g diced ham
  • 200 g plain cream cheese
  • 3 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 3 tbsp chopped chives
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Slice the mushrooms and fry them for 5 - 10 minutes in a dry pan.
  2. Mix the fried mushrooms with the remaining ingredients.
  3. Spread the filling in the center of the puff pastry sheet.
  4. Cut strips from the filling all the way down and braid the strips over the filling.
  5. Brush the ham roll with egg and optionally sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  6. Bake the ham roll at 200ºC (conventional oven) for 25 - 30 minutes.
