Cookies with White Chocolate

Soft and fudgy chocolate cookies with a deep cocoa flavor and plenty of white chocolate, with a chewy center. After baking, extra white chocolate chips are pressed into the warm cookies, so they melt slightly and give a beautiful appearance.

Cookies with White Chocolate

Ingredients

  • 120 g soft butter
  • 100 g sugar
  • 110 g brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 150 g all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 50 g unsweetened cocoa
  • 2 tsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp fine salt
  • 150 g white chocolate
  • 50 g white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Beat butter, sugar, and brown sugar together
  2. Add egg and continue beating
  3. Add flour, baking soda, cocoa, vanilla sugar, and salt, and beat until a uniform dough forms
  4. Fold white chocolate into the dough
  5. Chill the dough for at least 1 hour
  6. Shape balls with a tablespoon or ice cream scoop, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving some space as they will spread
  7. Bake at 180°C conventional oven for 10 - 12 minutes
  8. Remove cookies from the oven and immediately press the chocolate chips in
