Burning Love
Burning Love is a classic Danish dish consisting of mashed potatoes topped with fried bacon and onions and that is easy and quick to make. You can, for example, serve rye bread and pickled beets on the side.

Instructions
Peel the potatoes, cut them into cubes, and boil them in a pot without salt for 20 minutes.
Drain most of the potato water – leave a little, and mash them with a whisk.
Fold the butter into the potatoes and let it melt.
Add milk and stir.
Season the mash with salt.
Fry the bacon in a pan without fat.
Chop the onions and sauté them in the pan with the bacon until everything is browned and crisp.
Arrange the mashed potatoes and top with bacon and fresh parsley.
