Burger Buns

Soft and fluffy homemade burger buns, perfect for both classic and homemade burgers. Butter and honey add a slight sweetness and a spongy texture, making the buns extra delicious, even the next day.

Ingredients

  • 40 g yeast
  • 600 ml water
  • 50 g butter
  • 2 ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1000 g all-purpose flour

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm water and add melted butter, salt, and honey
  2. Gradually add the flour while kneading the dough with a stand mixer
  3. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour
  4. Shape 12 buns and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
  5. Let the buns rise for another 45 minutes
  6. Brush the buns with egg, sprinkle with sesame seeds, and bake at 200°C (fan) for 15 minutes
